I genuinely feel for the people on the streets risking everything.

But I’m uneasy about the alternative. The U.S. and Israel don’t really care about the Iranian people. They care about removing an enemy. America First. Israel First. That’s their lens.

And if the regime falls, what comes next? The prince doesn’t have deep support inside Iran. Power vacuums either get filled (sometimes with a worse alternative) or just stay empty (worst case scenario, just look at Libya)

That’s the nightmare. No good options. Just bad ones competing.

Very tricky situation.
