دونالد ترامپ، رئیس جمهور آمریکا می‌گوید که ممکن است نیروهای آمریکایی بیشتری در جنگ با ایران کشته شوند. پیش‌تر گزارش شده بود که سه نظامی آمریکا در عملیات علیه ایران کشته شده‌اند.

دونالد ترامپ که در پیام ویدیویی خطاب به مردم کشورش درباره جنگ با ایران توضیح می‌داد، از جمله گفت: «پیش از پایان [عملیات] متاسفانه ممکن است [عده کشته‌ها] بیشتر هم بشود.»

آقای ترامپ حکومت ایران را حکومتی علیه تمدن، آمریکا و اسرائیل توصیف کرد که دسترسی‌اش به موشک‌های بالستیک برای آمریکا خطرناک است.

آقای ترامپ در این پیام دوباره به نیروهای سپاه و ارتش گفت: «سلاح‌هایتان زمین بگذارید و در امان کامل بمانید. و گرنه حتما کشته می‌شوید.»

او همچنین خطاب به مردم ایران گفت: «آمریکا با شماست. من به شما قولی دادم و به آن پایبندم. بقیه‌اش با شماست. ما برای کمک اینجا هستیم.»

فرماندهی مرکزی ایالات متحده، موسوم به سنتکام، در دو پیام جداگانه در شبکه اکس اعلام کرد در پی حملات گسترده آمریکا، ستاد فرماندهی سپاه پاسداران از بین رفته و تهدید ناشی از برنامه موشک‌های بالستیک جمهوری اسلامی در حال حذف شدن است.

سنتکام با انتشار ویدیوهایی از این عملیات نوشت سپاه پاسداران طی ۴۷ سال گذشته بیش از هزار آمریکایی را کشته و حمله اخیر آمریکا «سر مار» را قطع کرده است. در این پیام تأکید شده آمریکا قدرتمندترین نیروی نظامی جهان را در اختیار دارد و سپاه پاسداران دیگر ستاد فرماندهی ندارد.

در پیام دیگری، سنتکام استفاده و گسترش بی‌پروا از موشک‌های بالستیک از سوی جمهوری اسلامی را تهدیدی خطرناک طی دهه‌های گذشته توصیف کرد و افزود به دستور رئیس‌جمهور ایالات متحده، نیروهای آمریکایی در حال از میان برداشتن این تهدید هستند.
