سفیر پیشین بریتانیا در آمریکا می‌گوید سه اختلاف کلیدی همچنان مانع دستیابی به توافق میان ایران و آمریکا است؛ از جمله برنامه هسته‌ای، سطح غنی‌سازی اورانیوم و کنترل تنگه هرمز.

کیم داروک، سفیر پیشین بریتانیا در آمریکا، اعلام کرد سه موضوع اصلی همچنان مانع پیشرفت مذاکرات میان جمهوری اسلامی و آمریکا است؛ در حالی که تهران از شرکت در دور جدید گفت‌وگوهای مستقیم انصراف داده است.
به گفته داروک، نخستین مانع، اصرار جمهوری اسلامی بر ادامه برنامه هسته‌ای خود است. دومین اختلاف به سطح قابل قبول غنی‌سازی اورانیوم مربوط می‌شود؛ موضوعی که آمریکا خواهان محدودیتی پایین‌تر از توافق هسته‌ای سال ۲۰۱۵ است تا به گفته دونالد ترامپ، «توافق بهتری» حاصل شود.
او همچنین مسئله کنترل تنگه هرمز را سومین نقطه اختلاف دانست؛ جایی که جمهوری اسلامی خواهان حفظ کنترل کامل بر این گذرگاه راهبردی است و احتمال دریافت عوارض از کشتی‌های عبوری نیز مطرح شده است.
داروک افزود آمریکا در تلاش است طی چند هفته به توافق برسد، در حالی که مذاکرات توافق هسته‌ای ۲۰۱۵ حدود ۲۰ ماه طول کشید.

دلار آمریکا روز دوشنبه در برابر ارزهای عمده به بالاترین سطح خود در یک هفته گذشته رسید، هرچند بخشی از این افزایش را بعدتر از دست داد.

در معاملات روز دوشنبه، هر یورو ۱.۱۷۵۷ دلار معامله شد، پس از آنکه پیش‌تر تا پایین‌ترین سطح یک هفته اخیر یعنی ۱.۱۷۲۹ دلار کاهش یافته بود. پوند بریتانیا نیز با ۰.۱۱ درصد افت به ۱.۳۵۰۳ دلار رسید و دلار استرالیا که به نوسانات ریسک حساس است، ۰.۲۷ درصد کاهش یافت و در سطح ۰.۷۱۴۸ دلار قرار گرفت.
