According to Iranian analyst Trita Parsi, it’s definitely not Crown Prince Reza Pahlavi, who sounds more like an IDF spokesperson rather than a future leader of Iran.

You need a strong middle class to have a democratic opposition, and the sanctions have decimated the Iranian middle class.

Airspace over Iran appears to quickly emptying, with no further flights being granted permission to enter Iranian Airspace.

🇮🇷 The strikes on Iran are inevitable, the question is when and why: to change the regime, change the leader, or destroy the country?

This interview is probably the best breakdown of what the strikes will look like and what the various outcomes could be.

My guest is a respected Iranian who escaped during the revolution and had his family jailed by both the Shah and the current regime.

He is hated by both fanatics of the regime and fanatics of Prince Reza Pahlavi.

Why?

Because he doesn’t pick sides. He despises the regime but also doesn’t believe the Crown Prince can lead the country, and he argues that inevitable U.S. strikes will likely lead to catastrophe for Iran and the region.

We all know he wants quick victories. We also know he fears being dragged into a prolonged Middle East war, especially after months of pitching himself as the “peace President” who ends wars.

Because of this, some analysts believe Trump will either avoid striking Iran, or simply conduct a symbolic strike.

On the other hand, others believe Trump said too much to be able to step back now, things like: “Iranian Patriots, KEEP PROTESTING - TAKE OVER YOUR INSTITUTIONS!!!” and “HELP IS ON ITS WAY”

Couple that with Israel’s pressure, and it seems Trump may actually have no choice but to strike, and strike hard.
